General 

01. WHAT SETS YOU APART FROM OTHER PHOTOGRAPHERS?

I really focus on offering the best client experience possible! I know you have a gazillion things in your mind as you plan your big day or photoshoot, so my job is to make the process easier! My photography style is very candid, meaning you will end up with photographs that preserve memories and emotion, on top of how things looked. And of course, my aim is to make you feel as comfortable as possible. By putting you at ease and creating a fun experience, we’ll get the most natural, timeless images!

02. HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A PHOTOGRAPHER?

I have been shooting film and digital photography since 2009. I started as fashion and beauty photographer then slowly transitioned into wedding photographer because I enjoy working with real people and genuine connection. I started to shoot weddings professionally since 2014. 200+ weddings later, best decision ever! 

03. HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY PHOTOS?

All photos are delivered digitally in an online gallery where you can download your photos in both print and web-sized format. The photos will be live on the gallery for 6 months, during which time you can share your gallery with friends and family. Besides admiring your beautiful photos, they will also be able to order prints and download photos directly from your online gallery. 

04. WHAT EQUIPMENT DO USE?

I use all of the latest Nikon equipment, cameras, lenses and multiple flashes. Both myself and second photographer always have backups as well, in rare event that anything should happen to one of our pieces.

05. WHAT IF WE FEEL AKWARD IN FRONT OF CAMERA?

You’re in great hands! I’ve heard from countless clients (yes, even grooms!) over the years that they enjoyed their photo sessions and felt at ease. I have tons of tricks up my sleeve to make you feel comfortable on camera, which is how we will produce the most natural images!

06. ARE YOU INSURED?

Yes! I have a one million dollar policy for me, my equipment and everyone on my team. Feel free to ask for the certificate for venue and vendors upon request.

Wedding & Elopement

01. DO YOU EVER BOOK MORE THAN ONE PER DAY?

Nope! Absolutely not! Everything I do is about making sure I have the time and energy to invest deeply in each couple that chooses to work with me. Because of this, I only book 15 weddings and 5 elopements per year. Other wedding photographers who often booked up to 35+ weddings per year, also often compromise on quality of service and photos. 

02. WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF WE CHANGE OUR WEDDING DATE AFTER WE ARE BOOKED?

Please make sure that your date is set in stone with your venue before booking since once the date has been secured through a contract, I will not be booking anything else during that time. In the event that a wedding date needs to be rescheduled, a rescheduling fee of 20% is required to cover the costs of business losses in booking opportunities incurred.

03. WHAT IS YOUR TURN AROUND TIME AND HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY IMAGES?

You will be receiving your images on an online downloadable gallery. The photos can be downloaded via phone, tablet and desktop and yes, photos will be high resolution. I usually will have your images ready within 6-8 weeks. If it happens for whatever reason to take longer than that I will get in contact with you ASAP! 

04. WHAT IS THE DEPOSIT AND TOTAL FEE?

A deposit of $1500 is required for our standard weddings. Payments are received in 3 installments with the first due at signing, second midpoint between signing and the event date ( often due around engagement session ), and the last installment on a week before wedding date. If you would like to pay it in full or other options such as monthly payments, please feel free to do so in the invoice paying options. 

05. HOW MANY PHOTOGRAPHERS WILL BE THERE AT OUR WEDDINGS?

I believe so much in the importance of a second photographer, that for packages including 8+ hours, there will always be two of us. This allows us to get multiple angles and be as efficient as possible, ensuring the best coverage.

06. HAVE YOU BEEN TO OUR VENUE BEFORE?

It depends! I’ve photographed countless venues, but there are so many in the world, that it may be a new one to me. If this is the case, I’m happy to arrange a walk-through before hand!

07. WILL WE GET FEATURED IN A MAGAZINE OR BLOG?

Although many of my sessions and weddings do get featured, this is not something that is guaranteed. Most publishers are looking for colorful, unique designed weddings, and I’m happy to chat about this if it’s of interest.

08. DO YOU HAVE A LIST PREFERRED VEDORS TO USE?

Yes! From wedding planners to florists and caterers, makeup artists, I’ve worked with incredible professionals over the years. I’m happy to provide a customized list.

09. DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH ELOPEMENTS, PROPOSALS, REHEARSAL DINNERS, AND OTHER EVENTS?

Of course! Depending on availability and the number of hours you have set aside for photography, I have packages for all of these.

10. WE'RE HAVING A DESTINATION WEDDING. DO YOU TRAVEL?

Yes! Traveling is near and dear to my heart (it’s how I fell in love with photography)! Please tell me more about your travel plans, and we will create a custom wedding collection to suit your needs.

11. HOW DO TRAVEL EXPENSES WORK?

I will add the fee into the total cost of my package and arrange for flights and booking myself. There are instances in which flights or hotels need to be changed and I don’t want my couples having to worry about doing that for me.

12. DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS?

The only discount I currently for couples looking to elope in countries that are on my bucket list. I would love to shoot a wedding or elopement in the Hawaii, Ireland, New Zealand, Italy, Nepal or Antarctica . I would only charge for the cost of traveling fees. 

13. WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR MOST IMPORTANT TIPS?

  • Put thought into your engagement session and outfits. This is YOUR love story and your memories for a lifetime.
  • Always plan to arrive early to a session. Sometimes parking may be limited and walking may be required. Being late directly affects the number of final photos and possibly the quality of photos, since many sessions are dependent on natural light.
  • Plan your wedding around the sun, the availability of good light, and bearable temperatures.
  • Consider doing a FIRST LOOK. Depending on your timeline and the time of year, it may be the only way for you to get bride & groom photos in natural light.
  • Be ready early on your wedding day! Make sure hair and makeup are done at least 2 hours before ceremony. This will increase the chances for doing bridals and bride & bridesmaid photos. When a bride & groom run late it can make the day more stressful and start to show on their faces. You deserve to look back on photos that reflect the joy and happiness of your special day.
  • Do yourself a favor and hire a wedding planner or day of coordinator! You will never regret it, I promise!

Portrait 

01. WHAT IS THE DEPOSIT AND TOTAL FEE?

A deposit of 50% is required for all sessions. The final payment is due at the date of the session.

02. HOW LONG AFTER THE SESSION DO WE GET TO SEE THE PHOTOS?

Photos are delivered within 3 weeks of your session. During this time, we are working hard to cull and edit each and every photo to perfection. 

03. SHOULD I RESCHEDULE MY SESSION IF MY BABY ( ANY FAMILY MEMBERS) IS SICK?

Yes! If one of your children are sick please reschedule your session. Children who are sick typically do not do well in taking instructions and cause your session to be stressful and unproductive. Please reschedule to a later date if your child is sick. Sessions will not be redone if your child does not cooperate during your session.

04. WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF THERE IS RAIN ON OUR SESSION DATE?

We will make every effort to check the weather forecast a week prior to your session and if rain is projected, a reschedule to a comparable date will be offered. 

05. HOW OFTEN DO YOU HOST MINI-SESSIONS?

we often host mini-sessions 3 times per year in which we offer short 20 minutes photo sessions. Please subscribe to email list and check out resources page for more info.
